Anglesey celebrated World Pickleball Day’s fifth birthday with a fancy dress tournament and a free-of-charge taster session – with trained leaders on hand to get them started and all equipment provided by the club.
And they were treated to a spot of birthday cake as well as a rendition of Penblwydd Hapus – better known as Happy Birthday in English.
The free taster sessions every Friday between 6pm and 8pm at Llangefni Leisure Centre will continue until Christmas thanks to the award of grant monies from Sport Wales to encourage adults to get active.
