Wales celebrating Nationals success

Wales is celebrating the success of its first-ever Welsh Nationals, which ran across last weekend at Bangor University.

“Having reflected on the Welsh Nationals last weekend I have to say firstly a big thank-you to the team both prior to and during the event for all your hard work which ensured our inaugural Nationals ran smoothly,” says Paul Byron, chairman of Pickleball Wales.

“The most pleasing thing for me whilst a big tournament the atmosphere was relaxed and all games were played in the true spirit of the sport.

“It was absolutely fabulous to see so many new players from across Wales
entering their first competition and for some of them medalling!

“As Chairman of Pickleball Wales it makes me so proud to be a part of this sporting community! Looking forward to the next one!”
