Young pickleballers looking to reach the top of the game have a new source of support.
The Emerging Talent Scheme was set up by the UK Pickleball Shop last year in order to support the next generation of pickleball talent in the UK – capitalising on their great relationships with many major pickleball brands who are keen to help support the growth and development of younger pickleball players. Working alongside these brands and with its own resources, the UKPBS aims to support young players in the next phase of their pickleball journey.
Gracie Hamilton – who’ll be representing the UKPBS and ProXR – is the first player on board, having been playing pickleball for several years and maturing into a player who has great fundamentals and appreciates the nuances of the game.

Harry Feast will also be joining the scheme after a fantastic 12 months of progress, when he was part of the PPL Challenger League and also helped his club Runnymede Royals to become one of the dominant forces in the South East Pickleball League.
Know someone you think would fit right in – or think you’d be ideal for the Emerging Talent Scheme? Get in touch with Sam Basford (or phone 07912 866932). The programme is designed for players under 25 who want to continue their journey and are keen to take the next step in their pickleball development, and as such not all applications will be successful initially.
We look forward to hearing from you!
