Pickleball 52 recently spoke to English national men’s singles champion James Chaudry about the potential for top players to make a living out of the sport.
James, who is Strategy and Development Advisor to Pickleball England, welcomed current support from brands for some of the top players in the UK, but sees potential for sponsorship opportunities that stretch far wider than the “top 1%”
The former tennis player says sponsorship of pickleball’s grassroots activity will stimulate further growth at the base of the pyramid, ultimately benefiting all levels of the game in the long-term.
