The Wales team for the inaugural European Pickleball Championships has been announced.
For the men, captain Mark Johnson leads a team comprising Paul Byron, Neil Hopkins, Tony Williams, Leigh Ryder, Nathan Parker and Scott Mayo.
A delighted Nathan Parker told Pickleball52: “I’m extremely lucky and proud to be given the opportunity.

“I am not your stereotypical athlete which is what makes pickleball so amazing and inspirational. I’m just going to be myself and love every minute of it.”
The women are captained by Pam Simpson, and the team includes Sue Jones, Mary Thomas, Susan Evans, Nicola Day and Justine Steven.
The tournament takes place in Southampton on the 23rd and 24th November.
